Background

Raised in Limsa Lominsa, she was exposed to people of all races and backgrounds. She was fascinated by the tales told to her by the many adventurers and merchants that passed through the port city. She reveled in learning about far off places beyond the Rhotano Sea and their different cultures and cuisine. But, it was their cuisines that commanded her full attention. This inspired her to become an adventuring culinarian and sparked her intense wanderlust to explore the vast world of Hydaelyn to discover new ingredients and recipes.

After going across the sea and visiting Othard for the first time, she was enchanted by Doman sweets and other dishes. She loved the area (and food) so much that she bought an apartment and made it into the “Midnight Diner” to test out the new recipes and techniques she learned on her travels.

In her rare moments when she's not thinking about food, Mizuki enjoys spending quiet afternoons looking out at the ocean or curled up in a sunny spot enjoying a good novel. When not in the kitchen, she can be found flying through the sky on her trusty companion Kevin exploring new vistas and gathering ingredients in the field.
